St Andrews Beach Brewery

St Andrews Beach Brewery is situated on a 92-acre property that was formerly a world-class horse training facility. Enjoy a variety of craft beers and something to eat from a delicious menu in the former stable of Melbourne Cup and Caulfield Cup winning horses. In the mid-2000’s the property was a working racehorse training facility housing up to 80 thoroughbred horses and featured its own 1200m grassed training track.

After a significant facelift, the centre of the old horse training facility is where you will find a truly unique brewery. Sixteen of the former boxes have been converted into private dining areas. The brewery also boasts a relaxed beer garden as well as a modern indoor dining area which allows visitors to view the brewhouse from the bar.

St Andrews Beach Brewery brews on-site using the finest aroma hops and heirloom variety malt to ensure each beer is full of flavour and character. Inspired by the property’s unique story, the core range of beers includes US Pale Ale, Australian Lager, Golden Ale and Pilsner.

Enjoy the brewery’s delicious snack menu and choose from a selection of locally sourced wines. The menu consists of a variety of small plates, share plates, salads, pizzas and burgers that go hand in hand with the core range of craft beers.

Check St Andrews Beach Brewery website for details.

Red Hill Brewery

The Red Hill Brewery was the first microbrewery on the Mornington Peninsula, opening in April 2005. The Red Hill Brewery is unique, not only do they have their own brewery on site, but they also established their own hop yard where they grow all their own hops to use in the beers they brew.

Fine hand-crafted ales made from brewery grown hops make the Red Hill Brewery a beer oasis in a sea of wine. Share the passion for their beers in a relaxed, rustic bush setting amongst the hop vines, where everyone is welcome to visit. You can taste the range of award winning, boutique ales, watch the hops grow and see the brewers in action, or just sit back and enjoy a quiet pint on the deck.

Light lunches of local produce on Fridays and southern style BBQ on weekends. Food is available on all open days.

In addition to our exceptional lineup of year-round brews, the Golden Ale, Wheat Beer, Scotch Ale and Pilsner… the brewery also produces an acclaimed and unique collection of seasonal specialities such as Christmas Ale, Temptation, Hop Harvest Ale, Belgian Blonde, Weizenbock, Imperial Stout and many rare, barrel-aged and challenging beer styles.

Open Fri – Sun and Public Holidays 11am – 6pm. More in summer. Check Red Hill Brewery website for details.
