Beaches

Peninsula Hot Springs

Bushwalking

The Mornington Peninsula boasts stunning scenery. You can choose to meander along the many spectacular coastal walks or bushwalk through the beautiful Point Nepean National Park, only 15 minutes away. Point Nepean National Park is home to some of Melbourne’s early colonial history. Here you can explore the forts erected in the 1880’s and later adapted to protect Melbourne during World War I & II.
The Bushrangers Bay Walking Trail is another option extending from Cape Schank Lighthouse to the Bushrangers Bay then joining to Two Bays walking track leading to Port Phillip.

Bush & Beach Horse Riding

Historic Sorrento

Visit the site of Victoria’s first official settlement in 1803. Encompassing a mix of beautiful old limestone buildings this thriving shopping area offers galleries, book shops and cafes. It is also home to the couta sailing club.

Portsea

Portsea is known for its multi-million dollar mansions and one of Australia’s largest and popular beach side pubs.

Tyabb

Antique lover be warned you will not want to leave. In Tyabb you will find over two acres of stores filled with antiques and collectibles. The entire town is one large antique market.

Markets

The Mornington Peninsula is blessed with some fabulous lively local markets. There is a market held somewhere on the Peninsula every weekend from September to May.

Adventures by ferry

Baysail Cruises on Port Phillip Bay
